Omaha: First Shots of the Fizzling Finals

So today all the horses and riders did have the chance to train in the main arena, they passed the vet check, and they are so ready for tomorrow! We have listed some fun facts paired with fancy shots of today.
Defending Champion
Martin Fuchs is the defending champion, last year he won the World Cup Final in Leipzig together with Chaplin. His partner in crime this time? The stunning and powerful Leone Jei, obviously.
Best Foot Forward
The runner up from last year will for sure put his best foot forward and so his horse will. Monaco N.O.P. and Harrie Smolders are keen to improve last year’s result.
Home Hero
For sure one of the favorites is home hero McLain Ward. Did you know he won the World Cup Finals in Omaha once before? It was back in the days of 2017. Of course, he was on his queen Annie, HH Azur, by then. This year he will take a shot with the scoopy Callas.
Senior’s Debut
The youngest rider of the whole stage is the American showjumper Elisa Broz. At the age of 18 she will make her debut at her first senior championship, together with Kardento van ‘t Meerhof.
Dazzling Dalera BB
It is definitely not the first World Cup Final of the German Jessica Von Bredow-Werndl. She took the win last year with the dazzling TSF Dalera BB, and they are ready to rock again.
Whelming Werth
23, that is the number of World Cup Finals Isabel Werth competed in. The edition of 2023, will made it to 24. Isabel finished five times on top of the podium. For her horse, DSP Quantaz, it will be its first final.
Flying Dutchman
The final is filled with the world’s biggest equestrian names and real top talents, like the flying Dutchman Sam Dos Santos. The reigning World Champion of the Juniors got invited by the FEI to participate at the World Cup Finals. He is just 16 years-old and ready to step in the spotlight.
